Here we have a pair of 5" gauge Mk2 carriages. Robustly constructed with a fiberglass body designed to take the weight of several riders,..... or to use the pre-imperial Yorkshire measuring unit roughly 3 'Daves'. The bogies are free rolling and stable although aren't detailed castings like those of an Aristocraft carriage. The wooden running boards hide most of the bogie detail anyway so the overall effect is still pretty good. Cosmetically the paint has rubbed off in a few places but it's nothing too detrimental, and it could certainly be touched up with little effort.
Chassis is welded steel angle, and has some nice details like the battery boxes fabricated to make them look decent in silhouette. Not that common Mk2 carriages, these are certainly the first ones that we've ever had come through, and ideal to go behind your Class 37 to complete the scale GL5 look!
